2. Get IN TOUCH

Get in touch via my enquiry form or email hello@abbylouisephoto.com to reserve your preferred photoshoot date. Once I’ve received you’re enquiry, I’ll be in touch within 3 working days to find out a bit more about you and your pet. We can then discuss exactly what you're looking for to ensure and ensure that your chosen package is suitable or create a bespoke package just for you and your pet. Once we’ve narrowed down your package and picked a date to suit you, I’ll send over some final details, my booking form, contract and an invoice to finalise the booking.

Please note - I require a 50% deposit prior to booking to confirm your date, this deposit is non-refundable.

3. the photoshoot

The day of your photoshoot has finally arrived (YAY I’m so excited…!) I’ll give you the directions to my studio where the magic happens.

You might feel a little apprehensive on what to expect during your pet’s photoshoot but please do not worry. I always ensure my photoshoots are as stress free and relaxed as possible, making sure that your pet has the time of their life and that and you can relax also.

Remember, it will be a NEW and VERY exciting environment for your pet and therefore expect them to be a little hyperactive and on edge, this is totally normal and the very reason why I NEVER rush into the photoshoot. I will work with your pet to ensure they feel comfortable with me first before with lots of positive reinforcement (treats and cuddles of course…) and then I will do the same with my camera before we get started.

My packages include a time limit, however this is only a guide and I will not rush a photoshoot. Some pets are easy and the shoot is finished within 20 minutes, others it can take longer. So don’t worry or feel like we need to be done by the time on your package, it takes as long as it takes and I’m very relaxed about this.

Once we get into the shoot, I’ll use a variety of methods to get your pets attention, from treats to squeaky toys. If you have any special treats or toys your pet loves then it’s always useful to bring them along. We’ll have lots of fun and create beautiful memories for you to treasure forever.

4. choosing your images

Once we’ve finished our photoshoot the REAL magic happens…

Within 72 hours of your shoot, you’ll have a preview of unedited images to choose your favourites from. Once you’ve chosen a selection of your favourite shots, it’ll take upto 3 weeks for me to go through and meticulously edit each image to create a work of art for you.

When you’re photos are ready, I’ll email you an online gallery where you can view your images and choose your final images. If you would prefer an in person viewing session we can arrange that, please let me know at your photoshoot.

Once you’ve chosen your favourites we can discuss any extra artwork you may like to order. You can view available artwork below and it there is something specific you had in mind then I will do my very best to accomodate that for you.

5. RecEIving Your Artwork

Your stunning artwork will arrive within 3-6 weeks after ordering. Please note that during the holiday season (November/December) it can take considerably longer to receive your artwork and I will do everything I can to make the process as quick as possible.

Your artwork will be delivered to my studio where I will examine and inspect every detail to ensure it is perfect ahead of delivery or collection to you where you can proudly display throughout your home to share and treasure forever.

6. Review your experience

After you’ve recieved your artwork and images and are fully satisfied, I encourage all of my clients to leave a review of their experience with Abby Louise Photography.

This is not only valuable for me but it allows potential clients to gain an insight into their experience with my business.
